The 3.05-meter strip channel is a profile designed to allow drywall panels—which will form the surface of continuous ceilings, crown moldings, or baseboards—to be secured to it with screws. Its geometry allows it to be mounted beneath the load-bearing channel. The strip channel can also be used to clad masonry or concrete walls with drywall panels as wainscoting.
